Dingwei Ye, MD, PhD

Prof. Ye Presided over more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research funds. Prof. Ye had 543 papers published in peer review journals as the first author or corresponding author (296 SCI), edited 9 monographs, obtained 19 patents. He has led over 50 international or national multicenter clinical trials and studies for GU cancer as leading PI. As the first accomplisher, Prof. Ye won the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress, First Prize of Science and Technology Achievement of Ministry of Education, Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award first prize, Second prize of Chinese Medicine Award. As the third accomplisher, Prof. Ye won First Prize of National Science and Technology Progress in 2012. Prof. Ye awarded as Young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions by the National Health and Family Planning Commission, Wu Jieping Urology Award, Shanghai Leading Talents, Shanghai medical leading talents, Excellent Academic Leader of Shanghai, Advanced Worker in National Health and Family Planning Commission, and enjoyed special government allowance of The State Council.

Takashi Fukagai

Dr. Takashi Fukagai is professor of urology in Showa University, School of Medicine Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from the Showa University School of Medicine in 1986, He did his research at the University of Hawaii and the Queen’s Medical Center at Honolulu studying prostate pathology and epidemiology. He is currently a Vice Director of Showa University Koto Toyosu Hospital in Tokyo. He is an active member of several oncological and urological societies in Japan and is currently president of Prostate Education Council in Japan (PCEC-Japan). He became president of the Asian Pacific Prostate Society (APPS) on January 1st in 2021. His special interests are in prostate cancer, especially for ethnic difference of prostate cancer. His most recent work has focused on brachytherapy, robotic surgery, and PSA screening in Japan.

Ji Youl Lee, MD, PhD

Professor Ji Youl Lee is the director of the Urology Oncology team, director of urology department, President of Catholic Cancer Center and the Korea Prostate Bank at St Mary’s Hospital, Catholic University of Korea. He has strong affiliations to prostate societies. He is the President of and Asia-Pacific Society of Uro-oncology, Asian Pacific Prostate Society and served as President of the Korean Prostate Society. Professor Lee is a highly-awarded speaker and researcher. His special interests are in Urological Oncology, Robot-assisted and Laparoscopic Surgery, Prostate Disease and Kidney Transplant. He has published widely in international peer reviewed journals.

As an active member of the Urological community, he is a member of several international and national scientific bodies, such as the Royal College of Surgeons of Thailand, the international Continence Society, the Endourological Society, and the international Society for Sexual and impotence Research. In addition to being widely published, Professor Lojanapiwat sits on many editorial boards, including Prostate International, the International Journal of Urology, the Official Journal of the Brazilian Society of Urology, and the Journal of Medical Association of Thailand etc.

Shigeo Horie, MD

Dr. Shigeo Horie is a surgeon-scientist of Juntendo University Graduate School of Medicine. He graduated the University of Tokyo in 1985. He did his research and clinical fellowship at the UT Southwestern medical center at Dallas studying renal physiology and clinical transplant. He joined the faculty of the University of Tokyo, National Cancer Center Hospital, and Kyorin University. He focused on oncological surgery and translational research. In 2003, he became the chairman of the Department of Urology of Teikyo University. He initiated the first Men’s Health clinic in Japan. In 2012, He was appointed as the chairman of the Department of Urology of Juntendo University. He specialized in uro-oncology, robotic surgery, Men’s Health. Especially he is a leading robotic surgeon in Tokyo.

Dr. Byung Ha Chung is professor of urology in Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He graduated from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1984 and completed his residency at Severance Hospital and received his degree in PhD of Medical Science in 1994. Prior to his current appointment, he worked as research fellow at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA. Professor Chung is the Past President of the Korean Prostate Society and is currently President of the Asian Pacific Prostate Society (APPS) and serves on the Research Director for the Korea Urological Association (KUA).
Dr. Chung’s research focuses on the field of prostate cancer and benign prostate hyperplasia for which he has published several literatures in numerous national and international journals. He has delivered many lectures to national and international urologic meeting. His most recent work has focused on robotic surgery and overall treatment of the prostate cancer patients.

Dr. Choung-Soo Kim currently serves as a head professor and chairman of urology, and as the chief of Prostate Center in Asan Medical Center, University of Ulsan, Korea. He is also the chief of Cell Therapy Research Organization, Asan Life Science Center and Asan Robotic Surgery Center and Asan Robot Research Center.He received his medical degree and completed his postgraduate school from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He conducted his fellowship at Duke University Medical Center USA and completed his residency and Internship Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Choung-Soo Kim has served on the KUA Board of Directors. He presently serves as a Mediator in Seoul High Court of Justice. He also serves as an important member of Korean Medical Association, Korean Urological Cancer Society, American Urological Association, and European Association of Urology.
